Doug Fir Framing Lumber
We carry a complete inventory of Douglas Fir framing lumber in common sizes and grades, as well as long-lengths to meet any of your building requirements. With excellent strength to weight ratio, Douglas Fir lumber is dimensionally stable with superior nail-holding capabilities and is used primarily for wood frame construction. Applications include studs, joists, headers and rafters.

S-DRY Framing Lumber
If your building project requires framing lumber that is 19% moisture content, we can help. Surfaced dry (S-DRY) is lumber that has an average moisture content of 19% when surfaced at the mill. Sometimes dryer lumber tends to integrate better with the existing lumber found when remodeling. Applications include studs, joists, headers and rafters.

LVL, PSL, LSL, I-Joist
We carry the most common engineered wood products used in framing in a range of sizes and lengths for the professional builder. A stronger and more sustainable green alternative to sawn lumber, engineered wood is made from smaller trees that are not necessarily straight.
Crafted by layering wood veneers, wood strands or wood chips with moisture resistant adhesives and assembled into blocks of material called billets. Each billet is then resawn into specific sizes that are solid, uniform, highly predictable and virtually free from warping, splitting and shrinking.
LVL / PSL / LSL / I-Joist
Engineered wood is available in lengths beyond conventional lumber and our inventory includes LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), PSL (Parallel Strand Lumber) for beams and headers, and LSL (Laminated Strand Lumber) for a wide range of applications including studs, beams, rimboard, millwork and garage door headers.
I-joists are ideal for long spans and are used in residential floor and roof framing. They are available in a full range of sizes and lengths to accommodate your every need with deliveries almost every day.

Custom Glulam
The bridge that crosses over Coyote Creek in San Ramon is the students shortcut to school and needed to be replaced. Always a fan of education, we were quick to respond and more than happy to source the product and oversee the delivery process. The installation crew took a full day to remove the old bridge and install the new glulam beams.
Custom built Alaskan Yellow Cedar glulam beams, 8-3/4" x 40-1/2" x 68' in length with a 26 inch camber (arch).

Pressure Treated Lumber
Pressure treated lumber is the builder’s choice when the lumber is exposed to the rigors of mother nature, moisture and/or contact with the soil. Structural grade Douglas Fir is pressure treated with Preserve CA-C, a treatment developed to provide long-term protection from wood boring insect attack and fungal decay. Applications include foundations, decks, fences and landscaping.

All of our lumber is sourced from sustainable forestland, graded at the mills and delivered to us through a network of suppliers with whom we have very long standing relationships.
Redwood Lumber
The structural integrity of Redwood lumber makes it the perfect choice for landscaping and outdoor construction projects. Naturally durable, Redwood is resistant to insects, decay, water and even fire.
Our Redwood comes from sustainably harvested forestlands along Northern California’s coast and milled close to the source. This renewable resource has a biodegradable life cycle and can be recycled.

Rough-sawn Redwood is resawn for a rustic appearance and is sized a little thicker and wider than surfaced lumber.
